another option would be a shoutbox which can work pretty much the same if not better
im not sure tho if IPB has that capability

Shoutboxes are way easier than a chat room and it is easily integratable seing as we have 2 panels on each side.

Chatroom would be pretty dead until we get some other members..
But shoutbox would be nice.
