It was an unlucky game 7 for Buffalo, who were left without their star defencemen. They also had the lead going into the third period, but Carolina pushed hard and got the insurance. Now it's Edmonton vs. Carolina for the Stanley Cup. Who do you think will win?

Which team knocked out the Red Wings? Whichever one it was, I'm rooting for the other one (just like I'm rooting for the Mavs because they knocked out the Pistons). :-P

I just heard the news--Carolina won the cup.

Damn it. I posted the news article, just to be consistent with the announcement of the finals. I really wanted Edmonton to take it, but a Canadian team is again denied from winning the cup.
