I have my only interest on Wii right now. Planning to head out to buy it sometime soon on a shipment date. It ships Saturdays where I live, so maybe I'll check it out tommorow. Anyways, this isn't a Wii thread, so I must tell you all, I'm a little impressed by Resitance. It's just that I'm not a big FPS fan like counterstrike and all that garbage. I love Metroid Prime though, and I can't wait to see what they do with the new Wii Game.

Damn it! I've gone back to Wii. Oh well, forgive me plez.

I can honestly say "Whoo hoo," to the Wii, "Meh," to the 360, and "Oh, okay," to the PS3. The PS3 is not overpriced when you consider it's hardware, also look into the fact that a Blu-Ray player alone which only plays video is close to $1000, that alone is a reason to get a PS3. I could have bought one this weekend when I instead got a Wii. I was actually thinking about buying the PS3. Reasons I didn't get one: I don't have a 1080p HDTV, let alone an HDTV to begin with. I don't see why a damn video game should cost sixty-fucking-dollars when it's been $40 to $50 forever it seems. The only features that it has aside from games pretty much suck in quality(i.e. web browser is just as shitty as the PSP web browser, and the same limitations as the PSP), not to mention done better elsewhere. FUCKING MASSIVE I MEAN OH MY GOD! Finally, the current selection of games is bar none interesting. Maybe when Area 51: BLACKSITE and Metal Gear Solid 4 comes out, I'll get it, but definitely not right now.

As for now, I'm satisfied with my Wii and PC(which is faster than a 360).

Actually, that's bull shit. Nobody copied anyone. Hell, no one even had the time to copy anyone, they all revealed their systems at the same time.

The best part is, Matrim posted that yet he plays with my Wii whenever he gets the chance. He loves Wii bowling.

Oh and MB, when PS3 was revealed it hadn't integrated the motion sensor. It wasn't until the dual shock lawsuit was over that they announced it, which was long after Wii's had been known.

I thought I read it in both PSM and OPM (way back when it was still the boomerang controller) that they were planning to add it, I guess not. Either way, it's not copying Nintendo as it doesn't use the same type of motion sensing, and motion sensing isn't a new found glory, we all should know that. What is original about it though is that all of the Wii titles(not counting back-catalog) all use it, rather than it just being an accessory for a few games. The PS3 barely uses it (Warhawk and some dogfighting game for now) for anything. Now, if Sony decided to make it completely use full motion sensing the way the Wii Remote does, then it might be copying. Motion sensing was original and new over 15 years ago.

Sony always copies.

And what you're saying is.. Sony released this shitty boomerang controller, and everyone hates it. Nintendo releases their remote, and a month later Sony is releasing their 'NEW' controller that now has tilt. I don't consider it copying because they both have some form of motion sensing. I consider it copying because Sony strangely releases this new controller a while AFTER the remote was revealed.

The Wii was revealed later than the PS3 was.

Doesn't really matter since the PS3 controller is still a conventional controller 1st. It's not like the motion sense is the primary way to interact with the game like in the Wii.
