You could always just call it Revolution anyway. That's what most of my friends do. That's also what GI does. I've been subscribed to them for 5 months and not once have they called it Wii.

actaully i'll never regret playing it because i havn't seen it and i don't care i've been able to get by without it and i havn't played on a Ps2 in about a year or any gaming system for that matter. i mean i'll play but i don't have that need to play anymore.

No, he's right. It's cause wikipedia is a User-Editable encyclopedia. We were looking for Teapot dome scandal stuff, and it had that quote. By the next day it was fixed.

And Sony and their positive reports are so damn stupid. They're tooting their horn and calling it "The most succesful pre-sale ever..." for their PS3's. They sold out faster than the PS2; yet they forget to mention that over 1 million PS2 units were sold in Japan, while their pre-sale for PS3 was less than 100,000.

I think they're trying to make it look big just so they can raise their stock prices, which have fallen 14% recently. They're trying to cut their losses. The Revolution is going to be the big seller for christmas. What people son't realize, is even though there is so much bad hype on the Revolution, it's setting the standard for next-gen gaming. They have motion sensors, Sony imitates it. "What, you can download old games? We need that too." I'm sure you've heard you can download old games soon on the Xbox 360. It's a total ripoff. Without Nintendo there'd be no "Next-Generation Gaming."

The PS3 isn't looking so good right now. The more people criticise the system, the more people will start to notice and lose interest. Thus, Sony will lose demand left over from poor console shipments. (Only 400,000) Combine that with the fact that there are rising concerns over the PS3's HD Compatibility and you've got a system with a hazy future.

Now, Sony is a company that definately know how to rebound from going alla Sega, right? Well, the only one who knows that for sure is the year 2007. We're going to see an impressive lineup from the Xbox 360 as well as the equally impressive Nintendo Wii games slated for release. If PS3 can keep up, it's only reward will be its own life.
