Just follow these simple steps to get your own personal avatar which requires absolutely no minimum post count. All you need is an image with the dimensions of 80 x 80 pixels. If you cannot provide those dimensions, then upload any other size picture and the forums will resize it automatically.

Yeah, I didn't want to change it from the old forums. Plus, this gives the center content of the forums the much needed space it needs to look organized. It can always be changed in the future, so don't give up hope.

On the old forums.. it wasn't 80x80.
I remember having one that was larger than this. =\ Meh, whatever.

Yup. It was 80 x 80. I just double checked. Maybe the white makes your avatar look smaller? I don't know. I think 80 x 80 is okay.

I think I know what it is. When you insert the URL of the avatar instead of uploading it from your computer, the size doesn't matter.
I'll test that. When linking to an off-site avatar, size limit doesn't matter. Look at my avatar on the other forums.

Oh, well gee thanks. This would have been nice to know 5 minutes ago when I was frantically search through the modify profile screen for an avatar spot.
