DVD's coated with modified microbial proteins can store as much as 20 Blue-rays and eventually could reach 50 terabytes. Amazing stuff.

20 quad layer double sided Blu-Rays? That's 4 TB, sure about that?

They mean that they can store as much as 20 blue-rays initially and that the technology could allow for up to 50TB of storage. So it would mean several terabytes on 1 layer.
