Anyone here pump iron? Or do you simply jog a few times a week to keep that body lean and mean? Perhaps you do neither and consider your couch a piece of exercise equipment?
I have these periods where I get all gung ho about starting a routine of weights and such, but I can never last long enough to see any true results. I always seem to get derailed by my schedule. I get into the whole routine, then something comes up where I miss a day, and it all snowballs from there. Also, I can only eat healthy enough for so long before I just get lazy about watching everything. That, and I have a hard time saying no to a juicy bacon cheeseburger or a delicious pepperoni pizza. (Side note: Yay for metabolism!)I'm thinking about starting again, but it'll probably be the same ol' cycle.

I've been eating really bad recently, but my metabolism keeps those unshapely pounds off.
I did when I was in grade 10, to increase my muscle growth at the time...it really didn't do much.

Yeah, with the way I've been eating lately, I'd be clogging my arteries up in no time if I was 10 years older.

I actually just got back from the gym.
![]() I go to the gym 4 times a week and do upper body on mondays, wednesdays, and fridays, and cardio on all those days plus a solo cardio day on saturday. Also, at night, every night, I do 10-15 minutes of abs. I ALSO used to play soccer on sunday and thursday nights in a league, but it's off season right now. We got knocked out in the semi finals. Anyways, I've been doing this routine straight for 4 months and I'm really surprised how I haven't managed to screw it up yet. My goal is to keep this up for a solid year and I'll be happy. And the results are fantastic. ![]() Quote:
![]() I was actually a little interested when they announced it, cause I like Wii gimmick games more than I should. But then when I heard all the weird shit about it, well, it's not very useful cardio at all.. ![]() |

I have a tredmill at home I use to keep in shape. I watch tv or whatever in the morning and walk. Low-intensity fat burning cardio and healthy eating is the way to go.

I bowl twice a week...and I mean competitively, not just for leisure or whatever. I also have bursitis in my hip and knee, so I have to do stretching and strengthening exercises a few times a week in order to strengthen the muscles in my hips.
Of course, a few years ago I used to run for about 2 hours every day, but I definitely can't do that anymore. ![]() |
