Default Looking for a program...

For my computer that will take some pictures of a video I have on the computer.

For example, I have Nero ShowTime, but the pictures come out all.. weird. With colors where there shouldn't be and its all grainy and everything. Yet the video is fine when watched with Windows media player or something, and simply taking a screen shot of WMP doesn't work.

Any ideas?

I used to have a program that did that.

Problem is, there are so many and they are all trials. I believe there may be a video player that allows you to take screen shots, not sure what it's called, but that's a healthy alternative!

I'll look around see if I can find it.

Thanks, I'd appreciate that.

Try this:

If you're using Windows Media Player, simply go to Tools > Options, and under the tab "Performance" drag the Video acceleration slider to None. Now, you can use ALT+Prnt Scrn to get screenshots. That should do it.

Alright Dude, That is fucking AWESOME!! Thank you so much for that little tid-bit of information. For this I will reward you with..

THE AWESOME TORCH!!!

I know you already stole it from me before, but now I'm handing it down to you, even if you already have it, I'm not calling the police for some major bullshit investigation anymore. You deserve it, you can change your title back, or not, doesn't matter, its yours, store it in the attic for later, maybe pass it down to your kids. Alls I know is you deserve it.

Shweet. Awesome torch... I like the sound of that as an award. Like, the Awesome torch can only be held by one user, who can pass it to someone else upon someone helping that user out.

And no problemo.
